Show Me The Elf!

Here is a photo I took of one of the forthcoming Elves. I hope you like it.

Bob (the sculptor, more on him in another blog) worked really hard to capture the same spirit in the models as we had in the original concept sketch. We wanted the Elves to look like these cool, ruthless killing machines. Minimal movement, all very considered and deliberate, but lightning quick and absolutely deadly.

  1. Errr, whoops. Looks like the picture isn’t inserted into the code properly fellas. I can’t see it in Firefox.

  2. Am I missing something? I don’t see any picture.

  3. The picture should be there now. Thanks for the heads up.

  4. they are quite brilliant. I like the look of elves that could actually rip your face off!!

how can we see more soon!! i need to play and model!!!

  5. What scale are these? 28mm?

Are these intended to be pewter, plastic or resin?

    • They will be 28mm plastic miniatures. They will be compatible with any 28mm fantasy gaming system currently on the market.

  6. What kind of base does it come with it? They are intended to “rank up” aren’t they?

How long till we get to see one all painted up?

Oh – and will it all be plastic rank and file guys, or will there be characters as well?

    • The models will be provided with both a circular and square base option. The circular option is part of the model and it will snugly fit into the provided square bases.

Painted versions of the models are just around the corner, since our painters are working on getting some ready for Gen Con. So at the latest the painted versions will be shown at Gen Con.

As we get closer to the launch date I will be able to reveal more about the different models, so stay tuned!

  7. Great stuff, looking forward to paint one of them.

    Good luck!

  8. A painters challenge indeed!

  9. There’s no e in Lightning.

    Your web site needs work.
    Cool is all very well.
Difficulty finding anything from the home page is bad form.
Involuntary sound is very bad form.
Moody wind and ravens….great idea until your punter clicks the link in his office.
Then yours is the site he never visits again.
Like a growing number of people. I listen to radio via my computer,
I prefer radio 2 to windy ravens.
    Gimme the choice,

(PS, I usually charge 300 a day for this sort of advice ).

    • Thank you for the feedback. The website is currently just a teaser site, while the full site being constructed. The full site is scheduled to go live early part of September. Will look into what can be done about the moody wind and birds.

  10. I agree, no sound please.
