12 Days of Christmas: TerrainCrate and Battlezones

Dark Lord's Tower

Scenery has become something that Mantic is famous for. Between the Battlezones use in Deadzone, Warpath and every other sci-fi wargame, the Dungeon Scenery, and the Walking Dead Scenery Booster, we’ve made a name for ourselves for producing affordable, quality plastic terrain for all manner of games.

2018 is set to be a great year for this. Firstly, we’ll have more of the reconfigured TerrainCrate Battlezones coming out in January. These are the Landing Zone, Battlefield Ruins, and Industrial Zone . You can see these above and put in pre-orders on the website right now, to ship at the end of January, or pick them up from your local retailers at around the same time.

TerrainCrate

Following the Battlezones will be the full launch of TerrainCrate. This a range of themed packs of scatter terrain, which can be used for any kind of tabletop game or diorama – from RPGs to full scale wargames. The first releases are covering Fantasy Dungeons¬† – arranged into cool themed sets. There are so many variants coming out it’s almost impossible to cover them all in one go, so I’ll keep the writing short and get to the pictures of the new sets.

These will be available to pick early 2018, with even more on the way later in the year!

  1. THIS IS GREAT NEWS! Ever since Mantic discontinued the various terrain packages (Urban, Industrial, Fortified, & Ruins) and in their different package sizes (District, Sector, & Quadrant) I’ve been left without he means to finish my massive terrain project. But I see most of what I need in the new Industrial Zone. Yes!
